Has new Interstate battery, full brake bleed, new plugs, new oil pressure switch, new fuel pump, new accelerator cable and Terry clutch cable. Engine has been upgraded to 2.0 with 96 big bore kit. Heavy duty oil pump and heavy duty pressure relief valve. Cylinder heads have racing silicone-maganese bronze valve guides. High performance rocker shaft assemblies. Balanced and precision matched pistons and cylinders. JCS matched connecting rods and remanufactured polished crankshaft, camshaft, and lifters. New flywheel and pressure plate and 009 distributor. New 4 tip exhaust and 911 motor/transmission mounts. New dual Weber carbs. This Porsche uses 91 octane gas. Needs horn and turn signal work and minor electrical and cosmetic work to complete. Some under pan sections could use replacement. This project is 90% done.

he orginal 914-4 was replaced with a 1979 Carerra 911 engine. I replaced the orginal shocks, rear brake pads, floor covering, starter and dash. Also, we added the 911 suspension for superior handling. This is an extermelly fast automobile. The complete installation was performed by Chuck Miller at Miller Sport in Hillsborough, NC.

914-6 Factory 914-043, his car received a $9000 wear and tear item restoration at 40K miles, (All the linkages, seals, weather strips, etc) and the owner had a completely rebuilt 2.7 liter RS Spec engine installed along with an overhauled side shift transaxle at a cost of $9400 at 42K miles. The car is extremely fast in the state of tune it’s in, running Weber carbs. The Op-Art interior is original to the car, and is very nearly perfect. The dash has no cracks. The car rides on original Fuchs, with new tires.
